DIALOG Earns Salmon-Safe Accreditation in British Columbia and California

Congratulations to DIALOG, a multi-disciplinary design practice, for successfully achieving Salmon-Safe accreditation for its San Francisco studio and re-accreditation for its Vancouver studio. This significant accomplishment reflects DIALOG’s deep commitment to sustainability and watershed health. 

The Vancouver DIALOG studio has successfully achieved Salmon-Safe re-accreditation, building on its legacy as the first practice in Canada to achieve this distinction. We are also excited to celebrate the San Francisco studio as the first design practice in California to receive Salmon-Safe accreditation. 

What is Salmon-Safe Accreditation? 

Salmon-Safe accreditation recognizes design firms, developers, and construction managers' commitment to watershed health. Accredited firms undergo an independent assessment to demonstrate leadership in protecting water quality, managing stormwater, and supporting healthy ecosystems.  

The Salmon-Safe team commends DIALOG for several key initiatives that highlight their dedication: 

• DIALOG’s forward-thinking approach to urban planning and landscape design is complemented by integrating Salmon-Safe standards into their designs to address critical issues like stormwater management, water quality protection, and urban biodiversity. 

• Through Practice-wide Roundtables, DIALOG fosters a culture of learning and collaboration that enhances its sustainability practices across the firm.
